Cupro Nickel 90/10 (UNS C70600) Sheets & Plates to ASTM B122
90/10 cupro-nickel (UNS C70600, DIN 2.0872, CuNi10Fe1Mn) contains about 90% copper and 10% nickel, with small additions of iron (1.0–1.8%) and manganese. The iron addition gives it excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and erosion.

Properties and Uses of Cupro Nickel 90/10 Sheets & Plates
90/10 cupro-nickel combines excellent seawater corrosion resistance with natural resistance to biofouling, good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, and easy fabrication and welding.
Where not to use it: Avoid sulphide-polluted water and very high flow velocities (above about 3.5 m/s in pipework). For higher velocities choose 70/30 cupro-nickel.
Testing, Documentation and Packaging
Every lot of Cupro Nickel 90/10 sheets & plates is inspected before dispatch. Typical tests include chemical analysis / PMI, tensile and hardness testing, bend testing, ultrasonic testing of plates where required, and checks of thickness and flatness. Third-party inspection can be arranged on request.
Material is supplied with a mill test certificate to EN 10204 3.1, together with the raw-material report and inspection reports. For export orders it is interleaved with protective paper and packed on fumigated wooden pallets or in wooden cases, with a fumigation certificate included.
